Volusia County is one of the southeast's premier golf destinations, with 17 world-class courses in the Daytona Beach area, named by Golf Digest as one of the top 15 places to play in the nation. Choices range from the Daytona Beach Country Club, the city's municipal course offering 36 holes, to semi-private courses at Pelican Bay Country Club and Crane Lakes Golf and Country Club. Daytona Beach also is home to two of the highest-rated courses for women in the nation at LPGA International.

Another popular spot is Winter Haven Park, with ample parking, restrooms, picnic tables, barbecue grills and lifeguards. For a more active scene, 23 miles of white-sand beaches are minutes away at world-famous Daytona Beach.

 

Ponce Inlet Boating/Marinas

Ponce Inlet is famous for its recreational choices on the water and for its fishing village atmosphere. Moor your boat or enjoy fishing charters at nearby marinas, which include the Lighthouse Boat Yard & Marina, Sea Love Marina, Inlet Harbor Marina and Restaurant and more. Blue Marlin, sailfish, king mackerel, wahoo and tuna are just a few of the species that attract sport fishermen to Ponce Inlet, while the estuaries of the Halifax and Indian rivers offer exceptional flat fishing.
